Unable to Locate VCM

1.

Verify that the USB cable is properly connected to both your laptop and the interface device.

2.

Verify that the interface device is properly connected to your OBD-II port.

3.

Verify the key is in the ignition and in the ON position.

NOTE: When trying to read or write the vehicle's tune, the vehicle ignition must be in the Key ON, Engine OFF state. See Vehicle ON for more information.

4.

Wait 10 seconds and try again.

5.

If you receive this error in VCM Editor, make sure VCM Scanner is in the disconnected state.
