"Transmission Segment Swapping has been added."

Very interested in this. Where can I read up on this?

Does this mean that I don't need a separate BIN file for a car of the same year as mine?
That I can just take my stock Automatic file and swap in a manual transmission segment?

Logs, configs, channels should transfer over. It's a much smaller update when compared to V2 to V3, that was a MAJOR update.

I'm not 100% sure tunes saved in 3.4 can be opened in earlier versions though. Check that out if it's important to you to for some reason.

Anything different with the 2017 GM's with this release? Still have to capture an infolog and send it in? Still 6 credits? T87 8 speed support?

Still need to capture an infolog with 3.4 & send to support.

4 credits now as noted on our supported vehicles list.

We're still working on the new tcm's, no eta currently.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

3.4 should open old files without issue, however files saved with 3.4 cannot be opened with previous versions.

Opening old files isn't an issue. Newer versions can open anything from older ones

Segment swapping was added back in 2.25 several years ago, lots of information in the trans section of the GM portion of our forum particularly in the sticky there as thats where it gets most of its uses.

I hate to bitch but I don't see any of the more basic things I've (and others)complained about in the past being fixed. Still can't copy and paste tables without opening and highlighting every single one.
Can't scroll all the way from left to right when copying a MAF table in the scanner. Well you can but it's ridiculously slow. It works fine in the editor so it seems like an easy fix.
Can't "clear or load all data" in a graph.
I have only looked at if for 5 minutes but these are things that are (were) very useful time savers I was hoping would have been addressed.

This might make it into 3.6

Not sure if this will make it into 3.6. I don't know difficult a fix it is.

This is by design. Change your view to "View Zoom Data Range Only" and adjust your zoom level to the level of history/data you want to see in the graphs.

You mind deleting my other post? This must have been put up right afterwords Interesting on the supported vehicles now... Any chance of older Ford support (pre 04) and older dodge anytime soon - having been keeping up to date with everything so don't know if this is already done or not?

    Thanks,
    Greg

Thanks for the new release, and the reduction in costs on the 2017 GM Vehicles. That relief is much appreciated, and easier for business on my end.

Holy cow. Mercedes is a huge deal. Any word on if you guys are looking into the V12 biturbo cars? The tunes for those run $1,000-3,000 currently and they are typically done remotely and flashed by the customer. I would LOVE to be able to do my own. You could probably require a dozen credits on those cars and still be very competitive.
