    ANOTHER gt500 with issues...

This was a read from a "Reputable well known ford tuner" I was given the task of cleaning up a bit of fueling on the dyno,

Now its a while later and the car is fighting me every step of the way....

It will make a good clean Wot pull, shut it off make a change to the maf calibration or to the timing tables and then it will throw a wrench light.... OR it wont, Seems like no rhyme or reason to it. It does have a ford racing throttle body on it and I have tried copying the values over from a Super cobra jet mono blade throttle body file and it is no better and possibly worse.

    Also No DTC's

"Mod 3" Seemed to work well and actually made a wide open pull but then the next time I tried to start it , wrench light came on.

"Mod 3 with SCJ Values" Should be that same file with the Electronic values copied from a super cobra jet file.

    mod 3.hpt
mod 3 with scj valuse loaded.hpt

Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I am just not sure what I am missing on this deal.

sorry just thought I should mention the car actually has the dual 65mm throttle body not the mono blade, Unfortunatley I was unable to find any file with the correct values for that throttle body which is why I used the mono blade one.

What is the TPS voltage with the key On, engine OFF. mine will do the same thing if the voltage isn't >1.00V.

Are you getting the Wrench immediately after startup after a flash to the car?

sometimes yes and sometimes no. seems very hit and miss.... I will try that 65mm data and see what it does.

I usually have to flash then turn the key off for 15 sec then turn the car on and that stopped the wrench light for me on 2 2011-2013 Gt500

Tried it with the 65mm throttle body settings, runs decent makes good power at wot etc TPS only reads 75% on the log but I am wondering if that is just like some of the gen 4 gm stuff and 75 is actually wide open.

Shut car off went to start it and it popped the wrench light.....

What code is it throwing. Also yes the 76% is what it will read on the scanner

Ive tried turning off the torque module switch in the torque management.... no change,

Seems it will make one good wot pull then shut it off, and when I re-start it will throw the light.

This thing makes good power and also good torque (785/725 rwhp/tq)... Throttle body data should be correct now so obviously its hitting a hard limit somewhere or something im missing?

Unnecessary if your calibration is correct. I've been tuning Ford torque-based DBW vehicles since they hit the scene in 2005 and have never once touched the TPS voltage. RATCH is reset every time that the key is cycled. If you read and study the Ford documents on DBW tuning, you'll never once see any mention of check/setting the KOEO TPS voltage. IMHO it is completely unnecessary and just masking a different issue.

I agree the koeo tps voltage is not our issue. There is something incorrect in the calibration.

    Jchambers any input?

That OLFFTA is not the right to use for that throttle body. I'd start with something closer to the stock GT500 or maybe the Cobrajet twin 65mm. Probably something closer to 6 sq in in size will get you headed in the right direction. Beyond that, you need to be close on your MAF and TQ/INV TQ or you'll be throwing the wrench due to airflow/torque correlation errors.

If you are getting a failsafe on startup and it's setting a P0100, your problem is not likely in the DBW settings. P0100 is a maf signal code. I had one doing this recently and I was lucky enough to get the freeze frame data. Every time it would set the code on startup was around 150-250 rpm and the maf hz was showing around 670, which is a period of 1492. If you look in the tune, the factory minimum allowed is likely 1300(769hz). Long story short, slow cranking cars and trash can size maf's will show this issue and lowering that min clip(numerically higher) in the tune fixes it.
