    Will disconnecting battery reset tune to factory?

    I'm installing a laser jammer on my corvette C6 today and have to disconnect the battery. Will that reset my HP Tune to factory?

    no it will not.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    That was quick!!
    Bill, what exactly does disconnecting the battery do? I would think you might lose your fuel trims...?

    possibly fuel trim reset as well.
    It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

    its like unplugging your desktop, everything is still saved.

    Idle airflow trims as well. Not necessarily a bad thing..

    Every Time I do an Idle RAF....I unplug the battery to reset Idle Trims before I go back over it again with the new values to fine tune it

    Good luck with the Jammer ..... I chickened out cause I was afraid they would pull me over when their gun didn't read right and get my car impounded.

    Plus I found out they don't use it on the race track.....
