PID Controller for Idle on EEC-V ?

    Found this SAE article:
    http://www.sae.org/technical/papers/2001-01-0261

Curious if Ford uses this on EEC-V based vehicles, like my cammed Cobra ...

......meaning, is there a way to adjust the P, I, and D in the software for the idle routine (assuming it's PID based)?

Something tells me that idle control would be a little more of a dynamic process compared to something like just trying to maintain a certain pressure (like in the returnless fuel system). Just found it interesting that there was an SAE article about it (was googling some stuff).
