I swapped my Third-gen Pontiac with a 5.7 out of a 2002 Pontiac Trans am. I had tune pre loaded from someone to make the car run. These are my specs
LS1
BTR Stage 4 Cam Kit with springs and retainers
Stock 243 heads
Melling Oil Pump (High flow)
LS7 Lifters
Stock intake
Long tube headers 1 7/8
3" Speed engineering exhaust
Stock Injectors
Bosch O2 Sensors (no rear o2s)
4l60e
3200 - 3600 stall
Shift Kit
Now the car does run but it over fuels like crazy, just trying to run it for a short period of time completely fouls the plugs. I can usually get 1 or 2 cranks out of the car before the plugs are so black they cant create spark. Tons of black smoke and soot. Usually after these 2 cycles I have to change the oil because it is usually so thin it starts to seep out of the rear main. None of the injectors are stuck open because it is a even flow on both sides, neither side has more smoke than the other. The car holds fuel pressure and does not bleed off, I have a constant 60 psi fuel pressure with a corvette fuel filter that regulates fuel. I am new at tuning and have done some research and I am slowly learning more but I am curious on things I could change on the tune to make it stop ruining plugs and make it run decent enough to drive.
I only have the tune file since I don't want to run the car since it will over fuel and once again ruin my plugs and fresh oil. Do I need to run a cycle to get more logs or will this give all the information I need?
