    TCM/TECM Replacement

So I believe that I accidentally bricked my T43 TCM on my 2016 Silverado 1500. My question is, when I replace the TCM am I going to have to re-license that module or because it's programmed to my VIN am I good ?

For those wondering why or how I did this, I wasn't paying attention and went to write the file to the TCM only and I think my key was not in the full on position as it ereased the file then timed out during the write portion, to the best I can recall. I kind of went into panic mode after that, so all the details are not clear in my memory.

TCM is not part of the license, only the ECM hardware serial & your tune file. You can put your already-licensed file into an unlimited number of TCMs without buying more credits.

Thank you. I did a write entire and crossed my fingers before coming across your response.

I doubt you could brick it..

    Let it sit unplugged overnight.
