    04 GMC 6.0 Troubleshooting

My 2004 Sierra 2500HD has been spitting codes and running poorly. Mainly spits P0101. But also misfire, knock sensor, 02 voltage low, etc. I have removed torque management, etc. But no fuel or spark tuning. Don't know if it's right to post it here. Posted two short log files. Any help would be appreciated.

Truck is stock. I did take the PE x1.05. I'm an old newbie. Don't really have a handle of VE/spark tuning. I changed the fuel pump and it caused it to run real lean. The fuel pressure on the new pump was only 58ish. So that was my fix to fatten it up a bit. It did bring the trims a lot closer to normal. It quit spitting lean codes. Not ideal I realize. Anyway, here's the tune...

Fuel pressure on the old pump shouldn't have been more than "58ish".

Ok. It may have been a little lower (54 maybe). Not sure. I thought it was supposed to like 65. It definitely started spitting lean codes right after the fuel pump change. I assumed it was lower than normal pressure.

If the vehicle is all stock put your laptop and HPtuners away and fix it. Buy a subscription for your vehicle from alldatadiy.com. Look up all your codes. Print the trouble trees and accompanying wiring diagrams. See if they have something in common that could be a "root cause" for multiple codes.

54-58psi of fuel pressure is totally fine. Adding fuel to a stock truck with a stock tune is just masking a problem, something tells me you still have a vacuum leak somewhere or exhaust leaks from possible broken exhaust manifold bolts causing it to show lean.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

I agree it's probably something basic. I'm just not well versed in troubleshooting newer vehicles. I thought maybe the logs would tell something to someone who knows how to interpret the information better than I. I have looked up possible causes for codes. Very broad possible causes. I'll look into: alldatadiy.com Thanks for the info. If you guys need help with a carb, or distributor, let me know!

You got to get the codes taken care of first. Just go to the service manual and follow the diag. If you have specific issues ask here and I'm sure someone can help.

This is very lean at WOT. at this age.. The MAF can be fouled or just bad. I'd check fuel pressure also. It's important to check fuel pressure under heavy load. Just driving around/idle won't cut it.

Good advice. I'll dig in more. Just pulled codes again. They were: P0101, P0131, P0151, P0332. Thanks
