    2022 Camaro 2SS A10

    I've been trying to practice tuning on a stock car. I have installed a flex fuel sensor but I'm currently tuning on 93 octane. I'm currently stuck on the MAF tuning. I have the car in MAF only mode I complete a driving log I stop the car and copy and paste the EQ error ratio in the MAF table and multiply by half %then write my ECU and rinse and repeat. I notice my MAF tune does not dial in. Theres been times where I've stopped the car didn't make a change and re-logged and it shows different data from the first drive There's even been instance where I was getting knock at 5 degrees. I'm just wondering where am I messing up at?

    The fuel trims will always move around. I don't recommend trying to tune the MAF on a stock vehicle. The MAF doesn't need to change unless you change airflow. Fuel Trims will never be 0%, they change with humidity, temperature and elevation. After flashing a tune, the ECU usually performs a catalyst test which will throw the fuel trims off a bit for the first 1 or 2 key cycles, particularly at idle.

    return the MAF values to stock
    make the car on speed density
    start with VVE until you reach up to 5% - 3% correction

    If you want to play around with this disable the LTFT and just use the STFT average and see how it goes that way.

    I put my car into Speed Density only mode but I noticed I had a CEL for P0700 trans code after doing a few logs and in the higher RPMS it wouldn't want to shift. I flashed back to stock tune and the P0700 is gone. This never happened in MAF only. I've attached my steps for enabling SD.

    There are several GEN 5's that flat out will not run in SD mode for one reason or another.

    You have to build the VVE while in MAF mode.
