I've got an LS2 in a RX7 with a problem. We're using HPTuners for the computer modifications. I have power at the coils and the injectors. I'm receiving a RPM signal, but I have no spark or injector pulse.
Engine ran fine in original vehicle. Harness has not been pulled off. All connections are solid. P1629 code was thrown.
Any thoughts? All help is appreciated.
You need to turn VATS off. Click on the HP OS box for the settings.

Do you have the right reluctor wheel? I had a similar prob with a guy once that ordered a motor online and it came with the wrong reluctor. I believe the LS2 takes a 58
Depends on the application. If he has an 05 LS2 ECM, then he needs a 24x reluctor. If he has an 06+ LS2 ECM, then he needs the 58x reluctor.

Thanks for the response. With the changes in HP software, the VATS disable option was not seen even though we suspected it was the problem.
