What would cause a map sensor to read higher barometric pressure? Gen 4 5.3l swap old and new sensor read 17.8psi KOEO.
If I remember correctly....(maybe not).....a weak ground on the PCM can cause it to give more than +5v reference voltage for the a/some sensors. Might be interesting to check exactly how many volts you are getting at the MAP, has to be more than 5v (but should not be).
