    newbie looking for tune

    Hello, just got hp tunner and looking for a tune for a 2001 chevy 2500hd 6.0l anyone know where I can get one.
    had a diablo tune on the truck but put electric fans on and the diablo tuner keeps over riding and deleting my fans I tuned with the hp tuner.

    It's going to if the Diablo re-writes calibration data. Check out the customer tune repository for various tunes, you can copy the tables to your tune and write the calibration table without having to jack around with the diablo.

    Just be careful if you do copy others people data, they might know less about tuning than you do.

    You already dropped the money on this software, it's worth your while to start reading and understanding what does what and how to tune it yourself. Otherwise this 500-650 bucks you just spent was a waste of money in my eyes.

    If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    I'd definitely start by going back to stock (on the diablosport), then pulling the flash image from your stock PCM, that's the file you'll want to edit with fan control, fuel/timing and torque management. Essentially, the whole nine yards.
