Was tuning a 2012 corvette.. Editor worked very well except for when I went to change rows and columns of virtual ve it would crash. And also the scanner would randomly stop loging WB and or the whole log, and would sometime crash when trying to adjusting logging parameters and/or histograms.. Would have sent crash reports but was on the road for the next couple month I think I will go back to 2.25 till the update worked out. From what I got to use I really liked the new scanner and editor, keep of the good work!
May just be my computer, but I noticed if you go to (view change history logs) the first couple of attempts the editor just froze, wouldn't open the logs then restarted from original opened editor screen. After doing this 4 times, it finally opened. I know I need a new laptop and may just be my processor speed or something? Just thought I would mention it....
History logs working fine in todays update 2-18-16....

GHuggins, Keith has very little input when it comes to table adds, as has been stated COUNTLESS times before we do the intake manifold table add on a case by case basis by contacting support.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Probably just an oversight, feature requests generally go through the forum. Table requests, particularly ones that we already offer the table on similar applications, go through support. We generally need the file where the table is available, the table id number and the file that you want the table added to.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Keith, I don't want to be a pain in the back, I hate to insist so much but I have a real problem, one I never had with 2.24

My issue is simple. If I change the VIN or flash a different OS using TIS, 3.0 asks for another license. The VCMID remains the same and 2.24 recognizes my license without issues. However 3.0 doesn't.
If 3.0 is the future and 2.24 is gone for good, please take care of this.
How can you help me? I can send you any information you need.

If your license is a license against a serial # and vehicle type pair, the vin you change to must be of the same year/model. This restriction applies in 2.24 as well.
You can't change the vin to a different year and reuse the same license, even if the serial # matches. This applies to 2.24 as well.
If you are working within these restriction and there's a bug, send us the info and we can look into it.
Your other option is to do a group licensing option, if its available for your application.

Yes those changes are within 2.24 restrictions. 2.24 is working fine and is recognizing that the file/pcm is licensed regardless of the VIN/OS it has (as long as it's valid pair).
Maybe I'm not explaining it right, but the issue is pretty simple. 3.0 doesn't allow changes to VIN/OS that 2.24 allowed.
I think the issue is 2.24 only married licenses to the VCMID, as long as the VIN/OS pair was valid it allowed write access. 3.0 checks for other things like OS and if something is different will ask for a new license.

2.24 licensed against serial # and the year/model type of the vehicle. There was still a relationship requirement there.
if you are maintaining this relationship, then send the files to support and link to this thread, and ask the ticket be assigned to me, and I can verify that this relationship is being maintained, and the license isnt' working.

I usually update my software weekly, but since 3.0 been updating every morning, so running the latest version.
as far as sending crash logs, unless windows 10 does it automatically it does not give the option like when the software crashes. When I experience the crash it takes the whole laptop out, therefore no crash log. in the two years I have had my laptop it has never crashed, except the three times in the last 2 weeks, all 3 while running version 3.0

mbray, try updating your .net framework.
When you're experiencing a hard crash like you are, it's more likely a system or driver fault.
Does it crash randomly, only when scanning, only when playing back a log, etc.. Can you narrow it down at all?

bill, I'm having an issue with new 3.0 scanner crashing. installed latest verson 3 times. I cant log more than a few miles before it takes a shit. i'm running windows 10, latest .net framework, and nothing is fixing it. it looses the wideband first, then freezes and i get a "not responding" when i try to close the program. my blood pressure is getting higher with 3.0.
