help speed up my 2-3 shift in a 08 Corvette

Im happy with my Tune and all is good except my 2-3 shift in Paddle mode

Auto mode and sport mode are great.

in Paddle mode 1-2 is fun 2-3 is sloppy, 3-4 is crisp, 4-5 and 5-6 are spot on.

    What am I missing here.

    Thanks for the help

Look at your 2-3 Upshift Special? Is that right? Doesn't look anything close to the other Upshift Special tables.

Mighty want to change your Pressure Pattern Select TUTD man shift back to Y. I've found I get a better paddle shift too with Flare Tqmgt set to Upshift = none

I had a different feel for y (sport mode) an z (paddle mode). That's why I had that.

I could change it back, but then would I duplicate the pressure pattern for Y and Z?

Sorry, time. Every other shift is set to .25 and the 2-3 is all over the place.

OK I adjusted the torque axis and it gave me a bad flare up on 2-3 Even though I put flare to none in TQ Management

I also but TUTD to Y

my 1-2 is crisp and fast

I would also put these back to stock. I had some problems with shift when modifying.

Im learning my way through the tranny, But Im lost at the spark limiter.

    Where is that at?

    Scratch- Found it.

In looking for a quick shift, wont that slow it down by putting it back to stock?

    How is your A6 Shifting?

Mine is shifting very good but I bought the Tuning School book and tuned acording to it along with some fine tuning with Ian's (Tuning School) help. I'm definitely no expert on this tranny but you have so much different than what they recommend I'm not really sure what to tell you where to start other than to buy the book.

Some say it's not a good book but it sure has my tranny shifting good. It doesn't cover all aspects of the tranny but enough to get you going. I suppose some want a book that would tell you what each command does. And that would be nice but the book doesn't.

What did yours do? I changed those tables in mine and didn't notice any shifting difference. Only that it doesn't command negative timing during shifts anymore. I set the tqmgt floor to 4 degrees.

I ended up resetting all adaptive trans settings in the scanner. and did a fast relearn.

No Flare up and shifts are fast
