    Wiring LM-1

I have searched and read about how to set it up on the scanner but what I need to know is how to physically wire it.

Which wire(Red, White & Copper) from the LM-1 hooks up to the MPVI and to what pin.

    Here is what I have.

And here is a thread about the pins on the MPVI

From what I have read the Copper wire goes to a ground. So should I hook it up to pin5 or 6 on the MPVI or a ground on the car?

Where does the Red wire go?

Where does the White wire go?

    Copper to 5
    red to 1
white to 2 or just tape up

When you add to scanner you will use eio input 1(or 2 if you attach). Has dual outputs which is why there is a red and white wire.

    Thanks again, mecanicman.

I went out and tried it. At first it was reading wrong but that was because the settings on the LM-1 were at 0-2 volts. I changed it to 0-5 volts on the Analog 1 and tried it and it still did not work. I changed the setting in the Analog 2 to 0-5 volts and bingo it worked. I adjusted the scanner to 9.9 from 10.0 to adjust it to match and now it works like a charm. I used the White wire because it was already stripped and had some solder so the wires don't fray.

I will confirm it better once I am able to go WOT. At WOT the a/f is more steady.
