Thread: Map scaling help please!

    Map scaling help please!

So when scanning my map sensor is reading around 125 KPA. I know the map has to be rescaled but the new map has more MAP kpa values. 15-275 kpa. I scaled it by going from 15-105 and just breaking it down into more values but when I scan it it's still showing 125 kpa at idle. How do I get it to read like normal?

Also if I rescale the scanner it just sits at the end on the scale at 105 kpa.

I should also mention I am using the 2 bar map SD OS. If I use the regular OS it works fine and reads correctly on the scanner. As soon as I load the 2 bar SD OS it reads all outta wack.

The only other thing I can do is scale the scanner to the 15-255 KPA values and it will read but then what about all my other MAP values in the tune. Would I have to rescale every MAP value in the entire tune?

Here is a copy of my tune and a short clip of the scanner. It looks as if the scanner is reading backwards.

I'm just worried the IFR tables are all going to be thrown off by the false KPA readings.

The MAP offset and linear you have are for a 2 bar MAP. What MAP sensor do you have? There is no way to scale a 1 bar MAP sensor to read 2 bar.
