send me an email later tonight if you don't get it going.
Ok, i set the flow to 63 all the way across, because i now have a retured fuel system. multiplier is also 1 all the way across the board. I leaned out the ve in the 400/800/1200 columns. Still doesn't idle.
Thanks in advance.
Also are you doing a write calibration only or write entire? Just a shot in the dark here...
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
A wise man once said "google it"
When i go between the maf and sd file, i write entire. When i just change ve settings, or playing with the injecotrs, or dtc i do write calibration.
Thanks, Chris
Ok. So @ 58# of rail pressure, the injectors would flow around 73, so i can divide that by 1.3, which gives me 56.15 and then use a 1.3 multiplier?
thank you thank you thank you
What?
I read the how to tune 60lb injectors on hptuners written by SjSchaffer. He takes the flow rate, and divides them by 1.3, and uses that info for his ifr table.
Then he changes the multiplier in flow rate vs battery voltage to 1.3 all the way across the board. this keeps him under the 63.5 ecu cap.
Im guessing im not going in the right direction here.
Thanks, Chris
I have no idea about any of that, but the general consensus is to put the ACTUAL flow rate into the flow rate table.
I think you have some GenIV platform confusion here too. We don't have an IFR cap in the GenIII hardware.. at least nothing in the 60-range.
Ok, so should i be @ 73 then for the ifr table? With the flow rate vs volts all at 1?
regulator is not boost referenced. base pressure is 58 psi.
thanks, Chris

I had an issue with the firing order changing when upgrading a 99 PCM to the 3 Bar.....just a direction to look to....
Frost is the man. The car now idles. ended up needing to adjust the iac counts which were way off, plus the other things he had suggested. Thank you frost!
