    Traction Control cause knock?

Does Traction Control pull timing by showing KR? Reason I ask, I'm running like 22 and 23 degrees of timing around 3500-5000 and it keeps showing around 3-4 degrees of knock and it is a steady knock between those rpms. I can't remember if TC was on or not. I won't be able to log for a couple days and was wondering if that could be it? Mods are mids, catback, and cai. 05 M6.

I would not expect traction control to cause knock directly, but
it could (by pulling back the throttle) slide you into territory that
you do not normally hit when driving / logging.

You can play with spark or fuel on a diagnostic basis to try and
determine whether the KR is real, by how it responds.

22-23 degrees is plenty conservative for an aluminum LSx head,
10:1ish compression ratio motor provided it is sensibly fueled.

Ya I'll have to load the stock timing tables back on and see how it responds. It's an 05 GTO btw.
