    2009 Colorado 6.0 swap issues

Im trying to help out a friend who has swapped a gen 4 6.0 into a 2009 colorado with the e67 pcm. He has had it mail order tuned by a company (cant remember who) out of florida i think he said. It starts and runs but not well, and throws p0101, p0102, and p0106 and dash says reduced engine power. I have a copy of the tune file as well as a log of it idling. Hoping maybe we can get some opinions.

No vacuum leaks that he can find. MAF and MAP are correct he swears. MAF is in a custom intake elbow, not in a stock intake or housing, so theres that. I can get the part number for the MAF and MAP if needed. The tuning company hasnt been the best about responding he says so we are trying to figure it out. The E67 is a whole new animal compared to the P01 haha. Lots of new things.

Thanks for the help in advance.

you can adjust the thresholds for the mentioned codes, it will prevent REP and it should allow you to start logging. I believe its under engine diagnostic tab.

P0101, P0102 are MAF failed codes. P0106 is MAP performance. Check the wiring, based on the tune both MAF and MAP are setup for a stock Colorado stuff. If it's different, those will need to be updated in the tune. (MAF and VVE fuel curves are stock 5.3 colorado as well.)

Is the intake tubing the same diameter as stock, or if modified, does the MAF curve match? MAF p/n would be helpful, if it's in an oversize tube then it's probably a "LS7" blade-style MAF.

Does this engine have VVT? What injectors are in it? I'd look at taking some spark out, look at the high octane tables. Blanket set to 22* starting at 1600rpms from 0.56g/cyl on up.

(Also both of the VATS and the Starter fault check patches are disabled, may work but this is a factory supported configuration so it'd be safer with them on still.)

I might just start with a fresh 5.3 Colorado base file, update cylinder volume to match 6.0, change injector values to match, update MAF/MAP values correctly, and get it running first. There are a handful of weird things going on in this tune...
