Created layout and now won't open

Here are some layouts I've made but only three open when I have my scanner open. Yet they show up in my HP Tuner link in Documents. I have 7 that I made but can only open three. How do I get all to open?

Looks like several of the files in your picture are not layout files but channel files and table files, so those would not show up when trying to open a layout

I would change your Windows settings to show the full file extensions so you can see what Scanner is seeing.

I have a feeling that is what is messing you up. ".layout 2.xml" for example won't show up because Scanner is looking for ".layout.xml"

I've tried to change my windows settings as you suggested but via Googling I get instructions to change per this snipping. Doesn't seem to work.

Windows 7. I believe I have the same checked but still won't show all Layouts.

I believe I have the solution. I went in to the file and actually changed the name from table to layout and now it works. Thanks for the lead to the solution.

It shows up now when I click on layout but when I select it, it won't open. Says invalid layout.

Because it isn't a layout file. It's a table file... that is used to only store graphs in it, not the overall layout

To open it you need to right click in the graphs window, go to graphs layout, then hit open up in the top left and then you should be able to open

Two totally different things..

Layout stores all of your charts/graphs/gauges/location in one file. But you can also store each of those individually if you want.. which is what you've got when you saved that .table file
