Cannot disable "spark torque management type: trans"

    I'm trying to finish a tune on a a built LSX454 that's swapped into a 1990 454SS with a 4L80E.

The truck was built with a speartech harness with an E38 and T42, and has the attached OS in it.

I think I've done everything to disable all torque management in the tune, but if you look at the log, you'll see the computer is still pulling timing due to trans torque management.

Can anyone please take a look and see what I missed? This is driving me nuts. The truck drives really nicely, then suddenly gets stuck in trans torque management, sometimes it won't come back out and just runs on negative timing...all you can do is get it off the road and try again.

It has no knock sensors, yet, so for now I disabled all of that in the tune too. I plan to install them when they arrive.

Try default trans limit and brake tq limits. Then put some tq limits back into the trans but set them to something like .something or 1's... Give that a try and see how it does...

Do you mean set them very low?

That worked. I put the torque management back to what I found stock in the same OS's (it's a 2009 van program originally) and it drove fine...so now I'll just minimize without zeroing.

It's been a while since I ran into something like this. Thanks for the help.

Yeah, just change them to something low so it's still got numbers there. Glad it worked out for you...

Not trying to take over the topic but I'm having the same issue on my build with a e38/t42 combo. ETC and Spark torque management are both enabling and Im even seeing TCS kicking in. I'm seeing at times up to 20* of timing loss at times. Gets less with higher rpms.

I attached the log and screen shot of the issue, any help would be great as Im pulling my hair out. Im not 100% clear on what was mentioned as to what tables. All TM I could find was maxed or disabled
