When i plug the USB into the laptop the power light lights up and goes out. Then when i unplug it the power light flickers. The power light never stays lit.

its odd that it lights up and then goes out, do you have an alternate USB cable you could test?

ya i tried a different usb. When unplugging it the light flickers.
Same thing when connecting to a car. The light comes on then goes out
