    Re-licensing after a PCM format

I had a PCM formatted by Speartech to fix a VATS issue. In doing so they changed the VIN, and now I have to license the PCM in order to tune it. Is there a way I can terminate the previous VIN associated with this PCM and apply that credit towards the new VIN? I was never able to even start the engine previously due to the aforementioned VATS issue, so I have no issue with "unlicensing" that VIN, but I am reluctant to spend an additional 2 credits. Any advice or info on this?

PCM in question is a GM GenIV E38. Originally from an '08 Denali, and now formatted to an '08 Corvette. It's a swap, that's being run with a manual trans.

If they changed the vin you'd need to license the new vin/os pair, there is no way around it.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...
