Installing drivers with only a single usb port?

Just got hp tuner pro and cant install the drivers. I only have a single usb port so the thumb drive and MPVI interface can not be connected at the same time. Is there a way around this without buying a usb splitter?

Why can't you just drag the drivers to your computer, install them and then plug you MPVI into the computer.

I never used a thumb drive to install anything on my laptop.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

If you're connected to the internet when you plug the MPVI device into your laptop, the laptop should pull the drivers automatically from Microsoft.
