Have a customer with Ls/Th350 in an s10 02 Silverado pcm. There's no speed signal and I had been dealing with a dying or idle surging issue when coming to a stop. I had the STIT dialed in while in gear cause that's all the pcm sees. Well today I noticed the reason for this idle dip/surging when coming to a stop. Since theres no speed signal when cruising in a high rpm and decelerating coming to a stop the STIT pulls to -8g/s so when I come to a stop quickly the STIT doesn't have enough time to go back to zero where it sits at a complete stop idling in gear.

I zeroed out almost every airflow table I could find and it stopped the STIT all together and no truck runs great coming to a stop no dips surgers or anything, but there's no idle command anymore with hptuners VCM scanner. The Idle is higher than the commanded idle. I'm sure its due to one of the tables. Just curious if there's a simple table to clear that wouldn't change my Idle speed.
