    EEC-V Tunes

    Can you guys please post up some EEC-V reads for those of us new to that ECU to look through before we get a car to tune.

    how do I convert .stk file from ngauge to .hpt file

    I think VCM Editor should open that file format

    it does open it, but tried to upload to tune repository and it only accepts .hpt

    Oh. They probably need to update their extension filter on the repository then.

    You can upload files here by clicking Go Advanced when you post then clicking the icon near the top right that looks like a paperclip. I'm just wanting to look at a couple EEC-V reads to see if they are similar to the 3v or what before I tune one.

    Valid file extensions: bin bmp cfg csv doc gif hpl hpt jpg pdf png rro rrt txt xls xlsx xml zip

    right click the file and compress it to a zip file then upload.

    Put it in a zip folder if you don't mind. I think I'm tuning one tomorrow and don't want any surprises in having to figure out where things are in the tune if it is much different than the 2005+ 4.6

    Learned something already. I didn't know the 2v didn't have knock sensors.

    I am already off the computer for the night but if nobody posts a file before tomorrow I will post it. I will just change the extension to HPT so it will let me upload it and then you'll have to change it back after downloading if it won't open.

    Fyi
    If the pcm dont read vin# like mine you wont be able to license file. They are working on a fix for this

    I haven't gotten to mess with one yet. I'm sure they will work it out.
