Low throttle position high kpa

I have a 06 silverado and i have a couple questions... when accelerating after the gear change to second, the truck reads normal throttle position but the map reads almost wide open... under 50% tps itll read 90 kpa. Any idea why?
Second gear in these trucks is gutless for a few seconds and i know a big part of that is the gearing in the 4l60 as well as the converter. But i want to see if it'll carry the power a little better. Also the truck is stuck on desired pedal area alternate so it always has a low throttle position yet at medium throttle it reads 90 kpa... map per the editor swings only up to 93 kpa i believe at wot.

Is it 2WD? 3.23 gears i bet. Those tend to lug it around if it's upshifting early at low throttle.
