I am wondering if just by programming, I can get 270/275HP out of my 2007 CTS. I pulled the attached document off of wiki, removed all the LY7's that had the same or lower horse power as mine. I am very curious about what is left. Especially the 2007/2008 GMC Acadia at 275HP. Any thoughts on if this is done with just programming?

The major difference I see would be the exhaust & intake, the CTS is RWD and air is feed through the front of the intake. The Acadia and Outlook are both FWD and the air comes in from the rear of the intake. So the intakes are different. IMO the RWD would have better exhaust flow.

I worked for Pontiac back in 2004, and notice the Montana had 15 more HP than the same year Grand-Am GT. I checked with the parts dept and found that the cam, injectors, throttle body were all the same. So I figured the difference was all in programming. Although I wanted to, I never took the time to program a GT with a Montana scrip to see if I could tell that it ran any better.
