    tach jumps for no reason to over 8100 rpm only 4th gear and higher

    Anyone ever experience this? Hammered it in first, second, third, then fourth. Fourth gear the tach on scanner jumped to over 8k. The car never went that high. 7200 is more like it. No problem in first 3 gears. Something about that heavy load of fourth. Had to watch the 4th gear part slowed down a bunch to see it jump. Anyone got any ideas? or am I overlooking something?

    It could be a ground problem. Under hard load in 4th everything is working harder and pulling more voltage/amps.
