    2002 PCM 2003 LQ9 thoughts? Advice?

Hello, I have a 2003 LQ9 engine we are working on, putting it in a 2002 Silverado that had a 5.3, and I want to know if I can take the 2002 5.3 PCM and reprogram it with a stock 2002 LQ9 tune, and put the Drive By Cable Throttle Body on it (because 03 had DBW) and also use the stock 2002 5.3 wiring harness? Will it work like I'm hoping? Or am I missing something? Thank you for anyone that's willing to help.

    Yes, it will work.

The harness won't care what motor you are using because everything will be staying the same way it was when the 5.3 was in there, you are just swapping the long block to a 6.0.

Change anything in the tune that is needed, so like cylinder volume, VE table, spark tables etc etc to make it run as if a 6.0 was in there stock. Past that you can tune it the way you want to.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

Awesome, thank you for the response. I'm going to do a segment swap from a 2002 escalade tune which came with a DBC 6.0.
