what am i missing no fuel table

I am in the process of trying to tune a turbo 1999 4.8 80e in a 92 Sonoma. I have tuned one turbo ls in the past and didn't seem to have this much difficulty. My problem is that after licensing and applying the 2 bar enhancement I have no fuel table past 105Kpa. I'm using a turbo 4.8 tune file I have saved from my previous turbo build. Also, under the OS tab nothing comes up(blank). I've read through the forum and cant seem to figure it out and I'm getting frustrated. I know there's a lot wrong with the tune as I just started and was going to start in the fuel table. Here's where i'm at.... Thank you, Jase I'm also a newbie and not a computer wiz so speak slowly..ha

first, looks like its a 1 bar operating system. not two bar

you have a 1273010 operating system, I believe a 1253010 is the system you need. Re open the factory file and upgrade it again

are you sure you didn't over write the stock tune, as that would appear to be the issue now

Looks like that's what I did. I can't find the stock tune and going through them by time stamp its not there. Am I screwed? did I brick it?

You didn't brick anything, but without the stock file you cannot change it to a different operating system.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

Here is a trick way around all this now that we have cool features in 3.4!!!

Once you apply a custom OS, you cannot remove it from the file. Sometimes you may want to revert your 1bar RTT custom OS back to apply a different custom OS such as 2bar or 3bar. If you save over the original file it would forever screw you up until now. If you open the file and hit Ctrl-L, it'll bring up a history log of the saved files. Sort of like a recovery setpoint. You can right click on the bottom one which is normally named "Base" and click on open in new editor. And what appears would be your original file that you first started modifying from.

Here is your original OS where you can apply whatever available OS's are there. Got it by using the method above.

James is right, if using 3.4, you should be able to pull the internally saved base file from hpt. Then start over. Good luck

Just a note going forward. I always name the files coming out by (vin#-base). never name it stock as you may need to pull a stock file to do a compare, that you would name stock as it's known good stock. Now as soon as you have saved the stock file, and licensed it of course! instantly click save as and rename the file (vin#-tune1) or whatever name your using. This way your not making changes on the file you pulled, but a copy of it. If you manage to click save, or accidentally save via hot keys, you won't be over writing the stock file.

Just a little something simple I do to ensure I don't make that mistake

Sometimes I've opened the history log on tunes to find changes made and nothing shows up, it's not often but it's happened before on some.

I also set the stock calibration to read only so I can never overwrite it.

Well I got everything applied and all seemed good until I went to start it. It starts then stalls. So I went back through and checked everything again and can't seem to find anything. One thing I found is the map sensor is reading erratically when I start data logging and the engine is obverously not running just keyed on. It's ready from 0-105 kph spiking back and forth. It almost colors the whole data log purple. I unhooked it and it goes down to 0-20ish maybe but is still erratic. I'll post the log and tune if I get a chance tomorrow.

    tune and log erratic MAP

Here is the tune and log.

    sonoma2bar.hpterraticMAP.hpl

Some other things I tried on my own were, I unpinned the MAP wiring from the ecm and tried data logging again with the wires out of the equation.(thinking I may have had a short) It was still erratic just this time it was from 0-10 kpa but still bouncing around. So I think its something in the tune. Maybe a parameter off or something...?

I think i figured out the MAP issue

I changed the setting in the scanner for the map deleting the SAE map and that seemed to fix it. the problem is it still starts and immediately stalls. any help would be great. tune and log are in the previous post. thanks Jase

You can't have the MAF dtc's set to no error reported, they must be set to fail on first error to drop straight into speed density.

That VE table looks very bad, not sure how you got it look that way.

Cylinder volume is setup for a 6.0 motor and not a 4.8, that is going to throw many calculations off on those computers.
