just got in from trying to start my gen 3 5.3, no o2's, 1 bar map, maf still equipped for the air temp sensor,, when i tried to start the truck was behaving like it was flooding out, i grabbed my laptop and scanned it with key on engine off, map says 55 kpa and afr is at 14.7 when i try to start, afr goes to 8.02 and map stays at 55 kpa,,i probly missed something simple in my tune, but i drove the truck to where it is
i also forgot to mention it's -11C here or +12F for the guys in USA
Fix your MAP sensor, it should not read 55kpa with key on engine off.
It should be somewhere around 100kpa just sitting there not running.
If you aren't going to run o2 sensors ever, you need to let the computer know that too. Disable all codes and disable all closed loop functions.
