Thread: O2's ??

    O2's ??

Is there any reason or benefit to changing the O2 rich/lean threshold:

    stock:
    min rich/lean: 300 mv
    max rich/lean: 650 mv

New seen in a previous tune:
    min rich/lean:450 mv
    max rich/lean: 450 mv

Any benefit going to 450 mv as the max threshold over the stock settings?

Is it for the front or rear sensors

Yes its the front O2's. Just trying to see the reason to do this.

What they intended was for the P.I.D controller to have no deadband; rather the moment that the voltage surpasses that centre-point they wanted the PCM to start controlling the injector adders to compensate.
Problem is, I don't believe it works...

Although, let's wait for a Pro to comment further.

I've never really seen it matter on Gen 4's. I use 450mv usually
