AEM 4110 with version 3.4 using serial - MPVI standard

    Hi guys,

I have my AEM hooked up through the EGR using version 2.24. AEM white analog wire to EGR pin on pcm, everything worked and I could log AFR.

When I upgraded to version 3.4 it no longer logs. So I got a serial cable and wired the AEM blue serial output to Pin#2 of serial plug, and I grounded Pin#5 of serial plug. I then use a serial to usb adapter to the laptop (using windows 10). My laptop recognised the adapter and said it was operating correctly.

When I add the channel in scanner and select the AEM, I then see it in the channel list. If I start log it just disappears. I tried the AEM EQ ratio and AFR, same problem. I then also "transform", and selected the parameter insert, and selected AEM 4110. When I start log, same result where it disappears.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

Did you start with the External Inputs>Serial Port then pick the AEM AFR or EQ Ratio.

You can continue to log through the EGR or AC Pressure as previously. There is a video we developed to help you along with the new 3.X approach. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ru_2M2uGSKs
