    1998 L31 Tuning Questions

I guess I start by saying Thanks for having me. I have questions about tuning my truck its a 98 5.7 5 speed. I have the 411 computer and plugs just need the pin out spread sheet. ive been waiting for lextech to send it to me. my main question is how many credits will I need to download a base tune and change my vin# in the pcm when I do the swap? is just as simple to change the file when I get it and download it to the truck once is wired. the 411 came out of a 4.3L Jimmy so I know it will need the 5.7L base tune installed on to it and I will need my VIN# updated for Emission reasons. Any help with this stuff will be Greatly Appreciated

I just did the swap in my 97 yukon w/forged turbo 383 . If your going coil over plug you can use something other than the 0411. If your going C.o.p. the 0411 base map wont start the engine.
Midway down this page you will find a pinout to an 0411 red/blue connector. Jeff (lextec) gives us the pinout for free but asks us not to distribute his work. Give him time or PM him on another forum he will send you the sheet.
Hoestly with a multimeter you can find everything you need. The pinout would make life easier.

thanks for the reply. Not going with the 24x COP just wanting to convert to the 411 for better tuning options. I am part of gmt400 where I have messaged Lextec several times over the course of about 6 months I was told to email him but that's kinda hard since I don't have his email lol
