transmission temperature in DIC after A4 to MN6 swap

    Hi

I've a question about the PCM (or configuration) of a 99 Corvette C5.
I've done a A4 to MN6 conversion at my car.
Everything is fine and I change the parameters in the original A4 OS to the settings of the MN6 (99er C5).
    Car is running fine.

Now one thing is strange: As it was with the A4, the DIC can show me the Transmission Temperature and I want to use this function again with the MN6.
I hooked up a new temperature sensor and connected it to the same wires as for the A4 (going to Pin 51 of the PCM and Ground)
But the DIC just shows 0?C or 32F.
If I change the PCM back to A4 (only switched from Manual to 4L60e in the Transmission section) it shows the correct temperature again.
If I reprogram it back to Manual it changed again to 0 (32F)

Is there a way to get both things work together, setting to manual and that the PCM reads the information from the sensor and shows it at the DIC?
I also checked the information in the Scanner tool, and it has the same behavior.

    Andy Ideas?

    Thank you

    Kind regars

    Birger

This is what the scanner shows when PCM is in manual mode. Voltage is shown but transmission temperature is not calculated

Can you do a segment swap with that computers OS?

Maybe that will fix the problem.
2016 Silverado CCSB 5.3/6L80e, not as slow but still heavy.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

    OK I'll try that.
When using the Segement swap tool, will it do other things than I can do in the GUI when copying settings and tables from one os to the other?

Using the segment swap tool fixed the problem.

It seems that the tool does more than you can do with the GUI and the settings in the transmission section.
I used a 99 MN6 file with the same OS version and tranfered the transmission sections with the segemnt swap tool into my OS file.
After that the temperature is shown in the DIC.
And I noticed that the cruise control is working, too.
    Thank you for the hint!

    Problem solved!
