I have a 2002 5.3 with ported 706 heads with ls1 intake valves. Cam is 216/220 with a 111lsa at 601 lift. I can get it to fire off it revs up the dies then as soon as it dies you try to start again it will shot fire out the exhaust. Sounds to me like timing but can someone send me in the right direction in the tune. thanks
Maybe it's off time if you didn't get the dots lined up right.
Double check that everything is plugged in, use the hpt scanner to try and log o2 sensors, map and MAF to see if they work. Make sure the injectors are running, you can log misfires too.
It should start up and at least run on it's own but of course not very well. Lots of tuning is ahead of you.

If it's active, yes.
Disable it if you need to.

What's all does vats kill? Fuel and spark or just fuel?
Should be the fuel system.

Ok when I get to write after I disable the vats. You do have to do a write entire? Cause they have and option that says write entire turner lock,vats and they have an option that just says write entire
Did it run right ever or has it not run right since a cam swap

I got it running it was the vats. How do I post my tune. I haven't changed much. Still trying to get it to idle on a hot start. Idles fine on a cold start
