Hi guys, I'm at a loss on this one. Out of the hundreds of LS cars I worked on over the years, this one has me stumped.

Here are the car specs:

- 2004 GTO M6 54,xxx miles
- Fast 102 Intake and 102 TB
- TSP Torquer V4 111lsa cam
- PRC STG 2 Heads
- 36lb Injectors
- LT Headers
- Stock MAF with screen

The VE and MAF tables are tuned within 2% using a WB 02, idle is set at 925 RPMs now, idle timing is at 26 degrees, RAF is at 8.09 at 176 degrees, 7.67 198 degrees on up, stock T-stat.

I'm starting to think the power steering pump might have issues. The car runs great at all times, no cam surge, idle drops nicely when you let the clutch out, only has issues when either going 1-2 MPH and turning hard with the clutch pushed in, or when your at a stop (0 MPH) and you turn the steering wheel hard left or right.

I've tuned bigger cams and cars that had 427's with a big cam, never seen this before. My personal 2001 Camaro SS M6 with a LS3 in it has a slightly bigger cam but on a 113lsa and it purrs like a kitten till you slam the go pedal, steering at 0 MPH has no effect on RPMs.

Could this be a mechanical issue?
