Thread: Wideband input on E40 PCM

    Wideband input on E40 PCM

Just curious, what 0-5v input to use on the GTO E40 ecu for input for a wideband.

Would these inputs be okay to use:

    Blue 45 - AC 5v reference
Blue 46 - Fuel tank pressure 5v reference

Also is there an EGR input on the E40 but not wired like the 01+ Camaro and Corvettes?

    Thanks!

You wouldn't use the AC 5v reference line you would use the AC Press Sensor (signal) and Low ref (gnd). On the E40 2005 vette it is pins 26 and 55 respectively. You can use the EGR as well except you will have to insert 2 pins into The PCM connector. The AC you can splice into at the firewall and add an A/B switch.

Thanks for the reply! I don't mind inserting 2 pins to the PCM to use the non-used EGR input. What pins would that be? The ecu I'm using at the moment is a GTO E40 ecu. GTO is also a 2005

I do not believe there is an EGR in the E40 PCM, sorry I missed the year.......use the AC Pressure with a double pole/double throw switch so you can switch easily back and forth. Pins 26 Hi and 55 low on the C1 connector.
