    GT500 2010 knock sensor accuracy

    No matter how much retard limit i will set, it removes maximum set values,
    I tried 10 max limit, no power, -5 runs good, -1 some knock audible. This is with TVS 2.3.

    Looks on this model i can't rely on them. What's your experience?
    I seen 6 pages topic about this on SVT forum, and looks all tunes people had there i can say disabled knock sensors, because they had always knock retard when added pulley or some upgrades.

    What i found additionally is, that there is no knock retard till 1.4 load, and 1.4 load is max that is set in knock theshold tables.
    So my idea is to set safa timing with electronic stethoscope, rescale knock treshold tables to handle max 2.0 load and tune 2.0 row to not get knock retard for all cylinders separate. Then i'll try to retune timing and check if he will try retard when i command more timing.

    Another upgrade, with shethoscope there is real knock which exists till PCM says there is no knock retard what is around 10-12 deg of timing. Raising knock threshold bit makes also audible knock, so looks they are acurate.

    It should run no problem 17-20, so i have to find the reason.
    I found oil in intake, so i'll install second catch tank, this may solve some, another suspect is restrictive exaust, it has stock cats and also stock x-pipe, corsa free flowing xtreme catback.
    I ordered Corsa X-pipe, since stock is restrictive.
    It's on 93 octane. Makes around 720 HP at crank, should be way over 800.
    72mm tb and 123mm, whipple 123mm intake, 15% ati overdrive, 2.7 upper pulley, 19psi.

    Any ideas what can cause that?

    a restrictive exhaust would actually reduce knock, due to the egr effect it creates.
    I would be more concerned with the oil in intake, and verifying whether its possible there may be some engine damage

    I think engine is good condition, was generating over stock power 565 hp before supercharger change.
    In the weekend I was on some track muscle car challenge polish championship and won this.
    2 days hard beating and no problems, iat 2 was occasionally over 160 with 2013 heat exchanger. No oil consumption, but oil visible in intake. Can go full timing around 25 till airload 1.4-1.5, once it gets 2.0 airload, he makes this.
    First I will install catch tank.
