Crank sensor wire signals

Hi.
This is my first post on this forum.
I'm trying to diagnose a no spark no injector issue and was wondering if anyone can tell me if it's normal to have 5v on the crank sensor signal wire for an ls3?
I have 5v at both outer wires with ignition on and no sensor connected. Centre wire has continuity with earth.

My cam sensor only has 5v on the power wire and not signal. I thought both cam and crank sensors would be the same so hoping one of them is the issues.

Surely someone knows this?
Just trying to confirm if the pcm should output 5v to both the crank sensor power wire and signal wire on an e38 with ignition on?
Starting to think I have a dead pcm.
