'05 Vette 6 speed dynoed last year with only mod being Corsa cat-back.
100 F ambient temp in dyno room. Bone stock tune.
Results: 356 RWHP 348 RWTQ
2 weeks ago I got my first chance at tuning this vette. Using WBO2 in the manifold pre-cat I dialed in the VE, MAF, and kept the stock high octane timing table. AFR runs 12.6 up to 4750 rpm, and 12.8 from 5000 to 5750 rpm, and then 12.6 from 6000 to 6500. All this was done street tuning. Went to same dyno just to get new numbers and was really let down.
71 F ambient temp in dyno room. Mods 160 Stat, Corsa cat-back and tune.
Results: 345 RWHP 344 RWTQ
When I did an overlay of the 2 graphs the tuned graph had 10 more tq and 7 more hp from 4000 to 5500 rpm, but the peak numbers were down.
Do I need to do more tuning and lean the AFR some more and get more timing in it?
Should I reload the stock tune make a few dyno pulls and then reload the modified tune and do some pulls to get same day runs for a more accurate before and after?
Any input will be appreciated. Thanks.
