Hello I'm working on a srt4 neon and using the old scanner it will freeze after data loging for 15 seconds roughly every time and with the new one almost none of the pids work on it I can get Rpm and tps. All of the gm vehicles I have been working on are doing great but them dodges... Also when do you think enhanced pids will work on the srt4 like Knock retard and commanded fueling? It shows them but not working sadly. Also hell yeah for external inputs here soon

I understand beta software as I oversee a team or 20+ software developers. I also understand prioritizing modifications to address the needs of the customer. Sometimes it is not possible due to other constraints and/or code dependencies. Other times it is. Hence my inquiry.If I am remembering correctly, the EIO features of the MPVI Pro were some of the last features to be completed when 2.24 was in Beta. Anyone that needs to be doing any serious logging should be using 2.24. Beta releases are accepted as incomplete and having features in trial and lacking final release features. It is purely for testing purposes so the devs can have feature feedback when making the leap from lab tested to practical usage. Patience is needed by anyone using beta software, if patience isn't your thing don't beta.
As I am fairly new to HPTuners I did not realize that the software would be out in beta for a year or more. As the features of the beta, particularly VVE tuning, were very attractive to me I was willing to be an early adopter. After months of downloading the beta only to be frustrated that the EIO portion was not implemented I attempted to form a very respectful email to end my frustration. This seems to have triggered some attempt on your part to educate me. For that, thanks, as I am always open to learning. However as I stated earlier, I do understand the use cases for beta sw (which BTW usually include early implementation of user's requirement to get them by until the full release is available) and I believe that my inquiry was valid, respectful, and it did provide me with valuable information. So should I have the need to ask a similar question in the future I am very likely to and just ask that you have "patience" with me.

Tomorrows VCM Scanner 2.25 has graphs that work while scanning.
It also has the ability to change the view of the graphs so that they only show data from your current zoom range (ie: what you see in the charts).
The view state (all or zoom range), is individual to each graph.
The view state (max/min/avg/last/count), is now also individual to each graph.

Can we get external inputs and user defined pids added asap please?
Will you also consider adding 15-16 support to 2.24 while 2.25 is not ready? I have no problems with using 2.25 but there are many features broken that I need to work. External inputs and custom pids mainly. If 2.24 would recognize the vehicles I have waiting on me now I can have them done like yesterday

I do like the way graphs are setup now. Once external inputs and user defined PID's are working I'll give the new scanner a real shot

The math/parsing back end for the 2.25 user parameters is already complete. It's 3x faster than 2.24's parsing engine. We just need to implement the front end.
