Just bought a 2014 Ford Fusion, 2.0 turbo Ecoboost. When I read the ecm it asks for what operating system, chip name....there are many choices and I do not know which is correct. Please assist.

Tried to get a read on a new 17 F150, couldn't determine the PCM. I selected Cooperhead and received an error. Sending info to support

    If its a 3.5L Ecoboost, its a TC-277, if its a 2.7L Ecoboost, its a TC-1797, and if its a V8, its a TC-1791

2017 would be one of the Tri Core(TC) ecm's, not copperhead.
It doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to be done in two weeks...

If it's not an Ecoboost 3.5L, then it would likely be the TC-1791.

SO what PCM is in the 2018 5.0 Mustangs...? are we able to tune them by sending in the file and checksum error reports?

its one of the Tri core ecm's, I know the newest 3.7 beta should automatically recognize it for you though.
