    need some help asap

Can someone please tell me how I can add fuel to my tune. Just where to go and how to do it that's all and I can figure it out from there. Thanks

The correct way is to tune Engine>Airflow>MAF and then also your VE. Adding air adds fuel.

so your saying if I multiple the numbers in the airflow vs freq. tab it will in turn add more fuel? same with the ve tables?

Yes but you need to tune with a wideband to do this correctly. There are tutorials here. Don't just bandaid something by adding random numbers to your airflow.

yes I understand. I have a wideband and have dialed in (for the most part) my part throttle fuel trims and maf. I was trying to do the WOT maf and my car runs really lean like the high 15s. Im thinking I need to add some so I can at least make a few runs to dial it in

Also depends on where and why you need to add fuel.

We posted at the same time.

Check your power enrichment, and make sure you're commanding the A/F you want, then dial in the MAF and VE to meet it.

Why make two threads with the exact same question???

    http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showth...-fuel-question

I kinda already pointed out some flaws, your MAF table and VE table need alot of work. Tuning without a wideband is stupid and going it with LTFT isnt the best way. The maf table and ve table and the reason for the problems, you changed them too much and now you are just adding a ton of fuel back in because you took too much out the first time around.

If you don't post your tune and logs when you have questions you aren't helping yourself.

5FDP let me explain. I originally posted it in the other section, then thought since it was a gen 3 motor I should post it in here. I do have a WB as previously stated. Im sure I am making mistakes as I am I noob at this stuff, hence why im asking a lot of questions. I never pulled fuel in the beginning, I bought the car with a lid and full exhaust and my thought is that is why it was so lean up top. I had to add fuel up top so I could tune the trims and MAT at WOT. I have since do these things and the car is happily sitting at 12.6-12.9 at WOT. I am still fine tuning everything and learning things along the way. I appreciate your help from the other section and didn't mean to piss anyone off. just simply asking questions. thanks.
