TCM failed in the middle of a write entire. Now says no TCM found.

While doing a write entire on a 2005 GTO to apply the 15000 hz patch it lost communication with the TCM. Now it has no TCM communication and TCM appears to be dead. It does not control the tranny at all. I finally gave up and pulled the battery for a reset but still no luck Is there any way to save this TCM?

Have you checked the fuse for the TCM?

I've been having this problem on normal writes for a few months now. Not sure what the issue is but if you let the TCM "rest" for a few weeks they normally come back for whatever reason.

Had this happen twice. Once it trashed the TCM and the dealer could not re-flash. The other time I just left the battery disconnected for 48 hours and it came back. Good luck.
