Is there a downside to zeroing out the throttle follower airflow?
Hi All,
The car is an E38 2008 Z06 with YSi blower running ID850s.
I was having a small issue with "cruise control" effect when lifting off the gas. It lasted for 2-3 seconds before the throttle closed. It also showed up as a slight up-blip in RPM (few hundred) when clutching in to shift.
I zeroed out the Throttle Follower Airflow Max and it completely solved the problem. Now the revs drop the instant you lift off the gas pedal.
Engine / Idle / Airflow / Throttle Follower - Airflow Max is where the cells in question are located.
Car idles fine and runs well.
Any downsides here?

I would also like to know if this map area effects something else I don't know about
Did you find any issue further down after testing for longer?

+1 for this. i have the flare up of rpms when i clutch to change gears. wondering if this has any adverse effects or if it would be better to try and dial in the idle-airflow-Base running airflow table.
