Last winter I encountered a really bad rattle in my L67 and constant knock when going 40+MPH. There was bering material in the oil and I rebuilt the motor. The timing chain tensioner came apart halfway so the timing chain bounced a lot and I assumed that caused the noise.

Got the motor back together and running and it is is at 10 degrees of KR whenever the car is moving and you move the throttle any. It doesnt sound loud standing next to the car. It has pacesetter headers and an Intense S1x blower cam so its a little 'chunky' at idle but not that bad.

Is it possible the knock sensors are just way to sensitive?

It has deka 60's, vette regulator so 58PSI, returnless rails, S1X blower cam, LS6 valvesprings, fresh bottom end, reringed stock bore, heads are gone through, headers, 3" single shot exhaust, LS1 air lid.

What causes the instant KR?
