Now I am no tuner by any means. I bought the program so have the ability to monitor and make small changes on my own car, and also make it easier to get tuned just by sending logs to my tuner. my dad has a 2008 silverado with the 5.3 and asked if i can get him better mpgs and maybe alittle more power and stronger shifts. Does anyone have a base tune for this kind of setup? I have a log on his truck and i will add it on here. Any help would be awesome, thank you.
If anything can some one point me in the right direction on how to figure it out on my own. Maybe some tricks that any of you guys use for the shift points and what to change to make the shifts a little harder.
Start with a maf cal and get rid of the kr at full throttle. Then you can make changes for milage.
