    4.3 to a 5.3

    Ok guys this is the first v6 truck that a converte to a 5.3, i got everything the harnees and a 5.3 computer install, whta my next step should i just disable vats and then buy credits n tune it?

    Yep. Disable VATS and fire it up. If you have the computer and harness out of a 5.3 already should'nt be much to do to fire it.

    Ok i did it but im not getting power to my injectors, it turns on but it dies....?

    Thats what im thinking, i did it several times and does the same thing.

    or the fuel pump relay is not seeing an oil pressure signal.

    what do you mean it turns on then dies. Does it start and run for around 3 sec and shuts off If so its vats

    ^^^Yes it turns on around a second then dies, Im disable the vats how it shows it in he help file (F1)...

    Sounds like the fuel pump isn't getting the OK to stay on after the truck is started. Like others have pointed out, it sounds like a security issue. Although I wish I had more info on what needs to be done to disable it. Hopefully someone with 5.3 v8 PCM knowledge will chime in! Congrats on the swap! It'll be even cooler when it stays running! (Been in the same position as you with my 3100 -> 3800 swap.)
